History
Established in the beginning of 2022, Aether ry was formed by a dedicated group of
international students. Their shared mission was to introduce the rich Finnish student
culture to the LUT University’s campus in Lahti.
Currently, Aether stands as the exclusive student guild in Lahti from LUT University,
having the responsibility of representing and advocating for all degree programs offered
by the university in Lahti. Emblematic of Finnish student culture, Aether has a distinctive
color for its overalls (warm yellow) while proudly showcasing its own guild mascot, the
enigmatic Mafia Chicken. The narrative behind this captivating mascot remains a
mystery, that’s only revealed during certain events.
